What We Write About

The technical side of getting email delivered.

Most email marketing content is about persuasion. This blog is about the layer underneath it: the DNS records, sending limits, header requirements and list hygiene practices that decide whether anybody sees your message at all.

If you are troubleshooting deliverability, these are the areas worth understanding first:

  • Domain authentication. SPF, DKIM and DMARC — what each one actually asserts, how they interact, and the misconfigurations that silently fail.
  • Provider sending limits. What Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 and consumer Gmail accounts will and will not carry, and what happens when you cross the line.
  • Sending architecture. Why distributing volume across multiple mailboxes and domains changes how filters classify your traffic.
  • Bulk sender requirements. The rules Gmail and Yahoo now enforce on anyone sending at volume, including one-click unsubscribe and complaint-rate thresholds.
  • List hygiene. Validation, bounce handling and suppression — the unglamorous work that protects a domain's reputation over time.

Articles are written by the people who build and operate the platform, and describe how things actually behave rather than how they are supposed to in theory.
